Abstract:Binance to delist ten margin pairs by 2023-09-14. Affected pairs include ALPHA/BUSD, ANT/BUSD, & more. Users advised to transfer assets before deadline.
Binance, a major name in the cryptocurrency world, has shared some important news for its users. They have made an announcement about delisting ten margin pairs. This change will start from 2023-09-14 at 06:00 (UTC). So, if you're trading on these pairs, it's time to pay attention!
The ten margin pairs Binance plans to delist are:
ALPHA/BUSD
ANT/BUSD
BAL/BUSD
COS/BTC
DGB/BUSD
FIRO/BUSD
OOKI/BUSD
QI/BTC
RVN/BUSD
TWT/BUSD
Before delisting: Before they take away these pairs, on 2023-09-04 at 06:00 (UTC) Binance Margin (the section of Binance where you can borrow to trade) will stop allowing new loans on these pairs.
On the day of delisting: On the actual day of the delisting, 2023-09-14, Binance will do a few things. They will close any open tradespeople have on these pairs. They'll also cancel any waiting orders related to them. This is like cleaning up and making sure nothing is left hanging.
If you use Binance and trade on these margin pairs, here's what you should know:
It's a good idea to close your trades and move your money from Margin Wallets (where you keep money to borrow and trade) to Spot Wallets (a more regular place to keep your assets on Binance).
Make sure to do this before 2023-09-14 at 06:00 (UTC). If not, there might be some problems, and Binance has said they won't be responsible for any losses that happen.
There's also something exciting for people in Latin America! Binance has added a new feature called “Send Cash” on their Binance App especially for them to be able to transfer money through the app instantly.
