In general, Purple Trading looks good. It is regulated by the CySEC in Cyprus and offers many security measures to protect the clients' funds. The available trading instruments are rich and the trading fee like the EUR/USD spread is lower than the average (1.5 pips). Besides, the MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, and cTrader platforms are attractive for traders who like trading on public platforms.
However, the minimum deposit amount to open a real account is $100, which is not competitive when compared with other brokers.
Like most brokers, Purple Trading offers both demo accounts and real accounts. Risk-free demo accounts are suitable for beginners or traders who lack enough trading experience and try Purple Trading. Real accounts are better for experienced traders or traders who can take some risks.
Purple Trading offers free demo accounts with a minimum initial virtual deposit of 1,000 (EUR, GBP, USD, CZK, or PLN).
You can have two demo account choices, demo ECN Prime and demo STP Prime.
Both are available on MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader5, and cTrader platforms.

Purple Trading also offers three real account types, ECN, STP, and PRO, with a minimum deposit requirement of $100, which is the average level among forex brokers. If you prefer to trade with lower minimum deposit amount, you consider other brokers, like HFM ($0), MultiBank Group ($50), capital.com ($/€/£10), etc.
ECN Account
The ECN account offered by Purple Trading is the standard account offered by most brokers but with a different name. You will receive an ECN account automatically once you have opened a real account.
It offers the lowest possible spreads directly from Purple Trading's liquidity providers and a modifiable commission of 5-10 USD per traded lot. These qualities are what make the ECN account a common choice in the eyes of intraday and scalping traders.
STP Account
The STP account is the account in which you do not pay for the volume of trades executed, however, this is reflected in the spreads which are slightly wider than in the ECN account. The STP account is suitable for position/swing trading.
PRO Account
The PRO account is a professional account, which is suitable for professional traders. A professional account can be set up as an ECN or STP variant for those clients who meet the legislative conditions for obtaining the status of a professional client.

In addition, Purple Trading offers negative balance protection, which can ensure that the trader's maximum loss at Purple Trading does not exceed the total capital in the trading account. It is required of all brokers as per ESMA & CySEC guidelines and as such is provided without exception on all leveraged products.
Compliant with legislative acts of the EU and the strict regulations of the Republic of Cyprus, Purple Trading also segregates its clients funds. Therefore, in the unlikely event of Purple Trading (L.F. Investment Ltd.) being subjected to financial liability, your funds will stay safe and will not be affected in any way.
Purple Trading retail clients are also protected by the Investor Compensation Fund (ICF) -a regulatory requirement under the Provision of Investment Services, the Exercise of Investment Activities, the Operation of Regulated Markets and Other Related Matters Law 144(I)/2007 - for up to EUR 20,000 of their funds by the Cypriot law against bankruptcy.
