Abstract:MetaQuotes updates MetaTrader 5 for Android tablets, featuring a modern interface and enhanced usability for traders. Access the latest MT5 version through Live Update.
MetaQuotes has introduced a revamped MetaTrader 5 (MT5) platform tailored for Android-based tablet devices. The update brings a sleek, modern interface in line with the iOS and web versions, enhancing user experience and functionality.
The main sections are now conveniently located at the bottom of the screen, while chart operation commands are accessible on the left. These changes streamline navigation and improve usability for traders on Android tablets.
Key enhancements include the addition of a context menu in the position history section, allowing quick access to the trading dialog or chart of the corresponding symbol. This feature provides traders with faster, more intuitive control over their trades. Additionally, the command switching to the trading dialog for non-tradable symbols has been hidden, ensuring a cleaner interface.
On June 21, 2024, MetaQuotes released the MetaTrader 5 Platform build 4410, featuring several performance improvements. Notably, a terminal crash issue that occurred under certain conditions at the start of testing has been resolved. The update also addressed the operation of the MQL_PROGRAM_NAME property for service applications, which previously returned incorrect service instances.
The MetaTrader 5 Web Terminal also received updates, including improved browser compatibility validation and fixes for demo account openings. These minor adjustments enhance the overall stability and reliability of the web terminal.
Traders can access the updated MT5 platform through the Live Update system, ensuring they benefit from the latest features and improvements seamlessly. This update underscores MetaQuotes' commitment to delivering a cutting-edge trading experience across all devices.
