How to Transfer Files Between Your Computer and VPS
Open Remote Desktop Connection and expand “Show Options”.
Switch to the “Local Resources” tab and check if “Clipboard” is selected (default status is selected). If not, please select it.
Once the clipboard is confirmed selected, log into your VPS; you can now directly copy and paste files from your local machine to the VPS (using shortcut keys Ctrl+c/Ctrl+v).
If copy and paste fail, you can open Task Manager inside the VPS, find and end the RDP process.
Then open “File” - “Run new task”, type “rdpclip.exe”, and confirm to restore copy and paste commands.
